Ordering Information
Placing Orders
Total Safety’s products and services are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A Customer Service representative will personally take your call Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m. CST. If calling after hours, the answering service will page the appropriate personnel for emergency off-hour and week-end service.

New Accounts
Total Safety will establish an open account subject to approval by the credit department after the customer completes Total Safety’s standard credit application.
Payment Options
If your company does not wish to be billed through an open account, we also accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Corporate Purchasing Cards, company check, money orders and C.O.D.s.
Product Availability
If a particular item is not in stock at one of Total Safety’s service centers, a customer service representative will notify you at the time of order placement and work with you to find a suitable replacement. If an item is on order from a supplier, we will notify you of the expected date of receipt.
Prices
Published prices are subject to change without notice contingent upon manufacturer price revisions.
Quotes
Should you require large quantities of a particular product, you may qualify for additional discounts. Please call a customer service representative for more details, 888.44.TOTAL (888.448.6825).
Quality Products
Total Safety sells only the highest quality products available. These products have been manufactured by third parties and carry varying terms of warranty. We will assist customers with warranty claims and expediting equipment back to the manufacturer.
Parts
Return of electronic repair parts such as sensors, PID lamps or PC boards are returnable only if the part is defective or fails under warranty, as many of these devices are warranty date-coded by the manufacturer. No credit or refund can be given unless these conditions are confirmed. Please call with further questions, concerns or additional information.
The products must be used in accordance with governing regulations and manufacturer instructions, warnings and limitations that accompany each product and service.
In the rare event of a printing error, Total Safety reserves the right to charge the correct price. We also reserve the right to change prices without notice.
Billing Procedures
Payment Terms
Total Safety’s payment terms are NET 30 days from the date of invoice. A late charge of 2% per month will be assessed for all unpaid invoices.
Rental Billing Method
Details will be discussed at the time of transaction.
Shipping Methods
All inbound and outbound shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer and will be added to each invoice unless otherwise noted.
- Rental - all Total Safety rental items are shipped the same-day F.O.B. shipping point, with freight prepaid. Total Safety utilizes FedEx Priority Overnight for all rental shipments which are processed through our on-line, real-time computer tracking system which provides instant traceability and assurance that your equipment will arrive on time. To make return of rental equipment easier, spare air bills and return shipping instructions are included with each rental order.
- Purchases - equipment sales are shipped UPS Ground unless otherwise requested.
- Will Call & Local Service - if items are available at a Total Safety Service Center near you, orders may be picked up by the customer or sent via a local courier during normal business hours. Please confirm all pick-up orders with Customer Service to ensure that a specific item is available at the pick-up location. If a particular rental item is not available at a local branch, arrangements can be made to transfer that item from another branch within two to three days at no additional charge to the customer. This service is not available for selected rental items.
- Same-Day Service - counter-to-counter, same-day service is also available, but is subject to the airline schedules for that day.
Hazardous Shipments
Due to the hazardous nature of some items, special packaging and shipping requirements are necessary in order to comply with DOT/FAA regulations. Additional charges will be incurred as a result. When returning hazardous items to Total Safety, the items must be packaged and labeled according to the carrier’s regulations.
