Total Safety hosted its 15th Annual ‘Tee It Up for Charity’ Golf Tournament at the La Cantera Resort in San Antonio, Texas. The annual tournament is held in conjunction with the AFPM Reliability & Maintenance Conference and Exhibition.

The largest turnout to date, all proceeds benefitted Chamberlain-Hunt Academy, a Christian military boarding school located in Port Gibson, Mississippi. Chamberlain-Hunt offers boys from grades 7–12 a structured environment to facilitate academic success and emotional development.

  • This year’s tournament included additional incentives for tournament players, including:
A chance to win $50,000 during a “shootout,” where four players from each course (the Palmer Course pictured left) were given the opportunity to sink a hole-in-one for $50,000
  • A 3-day, all expenses paid vacation get-a-way
  • Door prizes
  • Raffle prizes

Around 300 people participate in the annual golf tournament. This is the only fundraiser Total Safety has for Chamberlain-Hunt Academy; however, all of Total Safety’s facilities worldwide participate in community service activities and fundraising projects.

Total Safety believes helping the communities where they work should be an integral part of the company’s core values and is a testament to the quality and commitments of its individual team members around the globe.

Thank you to the sponsors and players for making this year’s golf tournament one to remember!
